Preparation Method:

-Reaction of 3-aminopyrazolo [4,3-d] pyrimidine with sulfuryl chloride to obtain 5-sulfonyl-3-aminopyrazolo [4,3-d] pyrimidine.
-5-Sulfoyl-3-aminopyrazolo [4,3-d]pyrimidine is reacted with cuprous chloride to give 5-Chloro-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidine.
